VOLUNTEER

Friends of Beethoven is a parent-run, 100% volunteer-powered, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises money to fund programs at Beethoven Elementary School that are not funded by LAUSD. Your tax-deductible donations support art, music, computer lab/tech support, teacher assistants, field trip Buses, the garden classroom, and much more!

None of this would be possible without the generous support of our volunteers! Through our collective effort and our love for Beethoven Elementary, we bring families, friends, and neighbors together with events, activities, and resources that strengthen our Beethoven family and enrich the Beethoven Elementary experience. Every parent and guardian of a Beethoven student is a member of Friends of Beethoven.

There are many opportunities to get involved with our organization. We invite you to volunteer in whatever capacity works best for you and your family!

Become an LAUSD volunteer and help with lost and found, walk Kinder students to enrichment classes, or pitch in at activities like the Fitness Challenge, Bear Mania, and the Multicultural Dance.

2. Chaperone a Field Trip

Join our students on field trips and help make their learning adventures extra special.

3. Share What You Love

Choose a heritage month or a topic you are passionate about and work with a teacher to bring it to life through a story, art project, or classroom activity.

4. Lead a Fundraiser

Have a great fundraising idea? Pitch it to the board, gather the resources you need, and take the lead in bringing it to life.

5. Share Your Strengths

Want to help without leading? Connect with a fundraiser leader and share your skills, talents, or time in a specific way that makes the most of what you have to offer.

6. Join the Book Fair
